One system to manage the full publishing process

It makes sense to have all the information related to your titles in one place. And it makes sense for there to be one system to manage all the tasks of publishing, since they form an interconnected process. Why split out events from author management, book specification from production or rights from royalties? The Onix Central Publishing Manager is the way to manage all your publishing tasks centrally, avoiding duplication and mistakes and allowing you to run your company in a joined up way.

The right information, at the right time, in the right place...

The most cost-effective way to sell more books is simply to provide more information about them, well in advance of publication. That's it; there is no great mystery.

This is why the Onix Central Publishing Manager contains the most extensive bibliographic database currently commercially available.

So for instance, we don't restrict you to information about the current publisher alone. If you wish, you can capture details about the publisher of the original language edition, or a publisher from whom the book was acquired, or a co-publisher, or a sponsor.

Comprehensive yet straightforward

We take this philosophy into every single area of the system. All your title information, from ISBNs to rights, and from pricing to suppliers; from marketing descriptions to as many linked images and files as you want. As much stuff as we could cram in, essentially - all in one intuitive, searchable, sortable database accessible to all. But if you want to keep it simple, you can - with our uncluttered, intuitive interface that couldn't be easier.

One version of the truth

No more fragmented spreadsheets on different people's C drives or aging Access databases. No more cutting and pasting from Quark files to update your website or AIs. One single source for populating your website, generating your catalogues and managing your title information. Oh, and of course all fully Onix compliant, with built-in outputs for all principal Onix recipients (Nielsen; Bowker; Amazon; B&N and many more). And if you need to just generate a simple Excel spreadsheet we also have straightforward exports to services such as Amazon Advantage all included for you. This is what real publishing database software should be.

More information - more sales

Don't take our word for it. Look at the real world statistics. As Joe Gonnella (VP for Inventory Management and Vendor Relations at Barnes & Noble) pointed out: simply adding a cover image to a title increases sales by 60% across 20,000 titles they sampled. Yet 63.7% of the titles in their database lack basic title commentary including, of course, covers.

Make sure the right information about your titles is in the right place. The Onix Central Publishing Manager: the most complete off-the-shelf title management software available, and the most affordable. Don't miss a sale again.
